The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson visited Africax5.tv studios on May 8th, 2013. He visited to officially open the new building where the studio was located. The studio which is situated at the heart of Tottenham in London was damaged in 2011 by unrest and riots.

The Mayor of London was impressed on how the place had turned around. Creativity, talented is one way to sum up how the Mayor of London portrays. Africax5.tv. He said the enterprise centre where this fabulous studio is located holds a promising future for the people of Tottenham. (Source)

Africax5.tv which started last year September is a part of a wider £41 million regeneration programme by Mr Johnson the Mayor of London and Haringey Council; aimed at increasing employment and investment opportunities in London.

Mr Johnson was joined by MP for Tottenham David Lammy, council leader Claire Kober, and former Tottenham Hotspur star and youth ambassador for Team London Ledley King at the Africax5.tv Studios in London where they met with Founder Weike Ezeigwe.

Mr Johnson went further to acknowledge the great potential and opportunities that Africax5.tv will bring in boosting services, stimulating the significance of cultural diversity and assisting people into work in London especially the people of Tottenham.
